About the artist: Growing up in the mountains of Utah, Rachel Salomon spent many an afternoon with her grandmother, surrounded by Japanese art, mid-century modern furniture, antiques and books. Later, she competed as a downhill skier, traveling throughout the country and internationally. These unique experiences came together artistically when she studied Fine Art at Brown University and Illustration at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. She currently resides in Brooklyn, New York.
